Sourav Ganguly-led Pune Warriors vs Kolkata Knight Riders - it was the most hyped match of the Indian Premier League Season 5. And though Pune went down by 7 runs on Saturday, the loyalty of the Kolkata crowd remained with their Prince, so much so that Kolkata captain Gautam Gambhir felt it was an away game for him at the Eden Gardens.

The Eden crowd played the song 'Ekla Chalo' from the movie Kahaani, which is originally a song written by Rabindranath Tagore, when their 'beloved' Dada was walking back to the pavilion after his knock of 36 runs. The song was sung by actor Amitabh Bachchan in the movie.

"They tell me when Saurav got out and walked back, they played 'Ekla Chalo re' from Kahani, and the entire stadium joined in and sang," Big B tweeted on Sunday.

"In the IPL at Eden garden in Kolkata .. divisive emotions .. Ganguly playing in his city for another team PWI ..," he added.

Big B also applauded the Kolkata crowd. "But must give it to the Kolkatans .. even though they were divided, they gave equal appreciation ... Only in Kolkata," he added.

After Pune lost the match, Kolkata captain Gambhir said: "It was like playing an away game for us. It was a 50:50 crowd and I thank them for being with us. Sourav is a legend and I am still far away from the contribution he has made to the game. Only 10 per cent of the crowd may have cheered for me."
