IPL spot-fixing: Deccan Chargers suspend Sudhindra
Deccan Chargers on Tuesday in a release said that T. P. Sudhindra, a member of the team, has been suspended for allegations of spot-fixing against him.
Stating that there was a directive from the Board of Control for Cricket in India, issued to concerned franchisees, to suspend all players involved in a sting-operation by a news channel, Chief Operating Officer E.Venkatram Reddy said that Sudhindra will not play in the ongoing edition of the tournament anymore.
Earlier in the day, Sahara Group released a statement saying it had suspended Mohnish Mishra from Pune Warriors India while the BCCI had already suspended Mishra, Sudhindra and three other players pending an investigation.
